Put the alarm gateway on the DIN rail
The DIN-2TE is an optional 2 SU enclosure for the JA-KNX and ANB-KNX boards. By default these gateways screw inside the alarm panel; with the DIN-2TE they sit in the electrical cabinet next to the KNX power supply, with the KNX bus connector on the front.
What it does
- Houses one JA-KNX or ANB-KNX board; the supplied flat cable brings the KNX connection to a front-panel bus connector.
- Snaps on a 35 mm DIN rail; opens by side clips, no tools.
- Terminals at the bottom for the RS485 and power wiring.
What it spares you
- No gateway hidden in the alarm cabinet: it sits with the other KNX devices.
- No KNX bus cable run to the alarm panel: the RS485 pair runs instead.
