The KNX logic module is a virtual extension module that is part of the ETS application of the master actuator. No additional physical device is needed. Each logic module has 8 logic functions including logic gates, sequences, triggers, math operation and weekly calendar events.
- Logic Gate with 8 inputs, configurable output delay and inversion
- Sequence with 4 steps, configurable outputs delays and datatypes
- Trigger with inputs logic, delays and weekly calendar events
- Math operations with configurable objects type and delays
Refer to the Logic Module user manual for more details on each function.
Validate the installation
Check commanded operation and status feedback for each configured function. Confirm startup behaviour, blocking and configured safety-alarm reactions under controlled conditions. For logic functions, use the Logic Module User Manual for the complete parameter and object reference.
| Symptom | Checks |
|---|---|
| Extension does not respond | Check the auxiliary supply, side connection, addressing procedure and extension order in ETS. Switch off the power before changing a physical connection. |
| Manual operation is unavailable | Check Manual Control in the general settings and the selected channel. |
| Command has no effect | Check the group address, channel function, Block object and any configured delays or safety alarms. |
| Shutter or slat position is inaccurate | Check measured travel times, slat time, motor startup delay and the configured motor type. |
