About HyperVisu #

HyperVisu is a powerful smart home visualization and control server that allows users to monitor and manage their KNX-based building automation systems.HyperVisu provides an intuitive interface to control lighting, blinds, climate systems, and other connected devices in residential and commercial buildings.

The system consists of two main components: a dedicated server that connects to your KNX installation and IOT devices and a user-friendly mobile application (available for both Android and iOS) that provides real-time control and monitoring capabilities.

Fully integrated in Elausys’ ElauPro configuration platform, HyperVisu forms part of a comprehensive ecosystem for KNX integrators, offering both powerful configuration tools

Hardware Specifications #

To successfully implement a HyperVisu system, you’ll need the following components:

HyperVisu Server #

  • Din-rail mounted, 4-units width.
  • Power supply: 24V DC power supply
  • Network connection: Ethernet connection to the local network
  • Default IP address: 192.168.1.60 (configurable)

 

KNX Requirements #

  • KNX IP Interface: A KNX IP interface is required to establish the connection between the HyperVisu server and the KNX bus
  • Supported protocols: UDP tunnel (standard KNXnet/IP) or Multicast

 

Network Requirements #

  • Local network: The server must be connected to the same network as client devices
  • Internet connection: Required for remote access and cloud configuration from ElauPro

 

Client Devices #

  • For mobile application:
    • iOS device
    • Android device
  • For web interface:
    • Any modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)


 

Integration with ElauPro #

For the best experience and easiest configuration, it’s recommended to use HyperVisu in conjunction with ElauPro, Elausys’ KNX project configuration tool. This allows for seamless transfer of device configurations, visualization settings, and user profiles between the planning tool and the operational server.
