GE NETWORX KNX INTERFACE – CADDX

The KNX interface module NX-KNX is a KNX gateway for the GE Interlogix NetworX Caddx alarm systems. It enables bidirectional communication with the alarm system using the RS232 serial port of the alarm system. It allows integrators to take advantage of a fully integrated alarm system including KNX scenarios, automatic lighting using the motion detectors, arming or monitoring the system using a KNX visualization. This interface is intended to be used with a GE Interlogix NX series alarm system. The system must be equipped with a module for RS232 communication (for instance the NX-584E).

The KNX application software for alarm systems gateway enables seamless integration of alarm systems with KNX installations, offering real-time status monitoring of up to 96 zones and control of up to 32 bidirectional inputs/outputs (PG). It supports advanced area control with arm, partial, and disarm functions across up to 4 areas, along with detailed status feedback, including intrusion, fire, and entry/exit alerts. The software also allows the recall of KNX scenes for each status change and communication fault monitoring for reliable operation.
