Overview

The PSA-15W is an economical ultra-slim DIN rail mounted switching power supply engineered for space-constrained KNX gateway installations. Delivering 15W of reliable 24VDC power in an industry-leading 17.5mm (1SU) width, this power supply is the ideal companion for single Elausys inverter gateways (INV-KNX series) and alarm interfaces requiring 12-30VDC auxiliary power.

Technical Capabilities

The PSA-15W provides a rated output of 24VDC at 0.63A continuous (15.2W), with voltage adjustability from 21.6 to 29VDC to accommodate various device requirements. Universal input accepts 85-264VAC (277VAC operational) or 120-370VDC, making it suitable for installations worldwide regardless of local grid standards.

High-efficiency operation at 86% typical reduces heat generation and energy waste, while ultra-low no-load power consumption below 0.3W minimizes standby losses. Output regulation maintains tight tolerances with load regulation of 1% and line regulation of 0.5%, ensuring stable voltage delivery even with varying loads. Ripple and noise are held to 240mVp-p maximum, providing clean power for sensitive gateway electronics.

The 4kVAC input-to-output isolation and 100M ohm isolation resistance at 500VDC ensure electrical safety and protection of connected equipment. Class II isolation rating meets requirements for industrial and commercial installations without requiring earth ground connection.
