Four circuits.
Or two blinds.

Four independent potential-free relay outputs give you a choice: switch up to four circuits, control up to two blinds using paired outputs, or combine two switched circuits with one blind.

  • 8 dry-contact inputs for local push-buttons.
  • 4 low-current LED outputs for relay status or KNX indication.
  • Control outputs through KNX or directly connected push-buttons.

Digital inputs & temperature sensing

Up to seven temperature probes.
One KNX interface.

Measure room, outdoor or inlet-air temperature alongside your local controls. Up to seven of the eight inputs can connect compatible DATEC temperature probes, bringing multiple temperature measurements onto KNX through one compact module.

  • Connect potential-free push-buttons or switches to the remaining inputs for KNX control.
  • LEDs follow input status or a separate KNX communication object.
  • A compact housing, just 17.1 mm deep.

The optional DATEC support lets you mount either flush module on a DIN rail. Choose the mounting method that suits the installation.

Compatible with switch actuator 1630.03160/61100 and binary-input interface 1630.03160/62100.

Plan your installation

Before you specify.

Can the binary-input module switch mains loads?

No. It connects dry contacts, compatible temperature sensors and low-current status LEDs to KNX. Use the switch actuator or another suitable KNX actuator to switch the load. See the modular KNX actuators.

Are the temperature inputs additional to the eight contacts?

No. Up to seven of the eight inputs can be assigned to compatible temperature sensors instead of dry contacts.

Do the modules need a separate power supply?

The electronics in both modules are powered by the KNX bus. The actuator’s switched circuits require their own load supply.

How far can local wiring extend?

The catalogue specifies twisted-pair input and LED wiring up to 30 m for both modules.
