The PSA-30W provides a nominal 24 VDC output in a 2 SU DIN-rail housing. Use it for compatible equipment that requires an auxiliary DC supply, with the connected load sized to the supply’s rating.
Power compatible devices
Suitable applications include Elausys gateways with a 12–30 VDC input and the external 24 VDC input of a DBE-64 DALI extension. Device compatibility depends on both the permitted voltage and the required power.
The PSA-30W provides more power capacity than PSA-15W for installations with a higher auxiliary demand. A HyperVisu server or a combination of gateways must be checked against the total available capacity.
This is an auxiliary supply without a KNX choke. Use a dedicated KNX power supply, such as PS-640, for the KNX bus.
Select the supply for the total load
Add the connected devices’ maximum power requirements and account for their starting demand and the supply’s operating conditions. Choose PSA-15W or PSA-30W from this total, rather than a fixed number of devices.
Set the output within the voltage range accepted by every connected device. Adjustability from 21.6 to 29 VDC does not make the supply suitable for equipment requiring a fixed 12 V input.
Protection and installation
The supply accepts 85–264 VAC or 120–370 VDC. It includes short-circuit, overload, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection, with Class II construction and 4 kVAC input–output isolation.
Mount it on a 35 mm DIN rail and follow the product documentation for wiring, ventilation, output adjustment, and any load derating. The stated operating-temperature range is −30 to +70 °C. The product carries a three-year warranty.

Can it power the KNX bus?
No. It has no KNX choke and is intended for auxiliary DC loads. Use a dedicated KNX supply such as PS-640 for the bus.
Which devices can it power?
Devices whose input-voltage range includes the selected output voltage and whose combined load fits the supply’s capacity. Examples include supported 12–30 VDC Elausys gateways and the DBE-64 external 24 VDC input. Check each product’s requirements.
Should I choose PSA-15W or PSA-30W?
Choose from the total maximum power demand of the equipment, allowing for starting demand and operating conditions. PSA-30W provides more capacity; neither model should be selected solely by the number of connected devices.
Can it power a device that requires 12 VDC?
Not if that device requires a fixed 12 V supply. The output adjusts from 21.6 to 29 VDC. Equipment rated for a wider range such as 12–30 VDC may be compatible, subject to its power requirements.
Does it replace the power supply inside a DALI luminaire?
No. It supplies the DBE-64’s external 24 VDC input for its DALI bus supply. The luminaires and control gear require their own appropriate load supply.
Is the output voltage adjustable?
Yes, from 21.6 to 29 VDC. Follow the product documentation and keep the setting within the accepted voltage range of all connected devices.
