HyperVisu KNX Touch Panel 4-inch
The HV-TOUCH-4 is a 4-inch wall-mounted touch panel for compact room control at an entrance, bedside, or workspace. The native HyperVisu app is preinstalled on its 480 × 480 capacitive display. Power over Ethernet carries power and network in one cable. A HyperVisu HOME, PRO, or MAX server is required.

Room control on a compact 4-inch touch panel
The HV-TOUCH-4 provides a dedicated wall interface for your HyperVisu installation. Its 4-inch, 480 × 480 capacitive touch display runs the native HyperVisu app, which is preinstalled on the panel.
The 4-inch layout keeps room controls close at hand. Use it for lighting, blinds, temperature settings, and scenes, with access to other supported functions in the HyperVisu project.
Control and monitor connected systems
Access lighting, blinds, heating, and scenes through the project configured on the server. Rooms, favourites, and personal Views help organise the controls you use most.
Supported integrations can also provide energy measurements, alarm functions, cameras, video door entry, and audio controls. Available functions depend on the server configuration, connected equipment, and integration support.
The panel provides an interface to the server. It does not replace the HyperVisu server or connect directly to the KNX bus.
Designed for wall-mounted use
A proximity sensor wakes the screen when you approach. Screen Economy provides a sleep mode when the display is not in use.
The panel includes four microphones and a 1 W speaker. Audio use depends on the supported application and integration.
The panel is designed for standard EU, UK, and UAE wall boxes. Check the box dimensions, available depth, and cable access against the installation drawing. Ethernet with PoE is required at the mounting point; an existing KNX bus cable alone is not sufficient.
Installation and server connection
Connect the panel to a suitable PoE network connection. The same Ethernet cable provides power and access to the local network.
A commissioned HyperVisu HOME, PRO, or MAX server must be reachable on that network. For KNX installations, the server communicates with the bus through a compatible KNX/IP interface or router.
The project and its device integrations are configured on the HyperVisu server, using its configuration tools or ElauPro. Connect the panel’s app to that server according to the setup instructions.
Local control of locally connected devices does not require a cloud service. Functions that rely on online integrations may require internet access. Panel operation depends on the server and network connection; switching off the panel does not stop the server or directly programmed KNX functions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work without a HyperVisu server?
No. The panel is a client of a commissioned HyperVisu HOME, PRO, or MAX server. The server holds the project and communicates with the connected building systems.
Does the panel need a KNX bus connection?
No. It connects over Ethernet. The HyperVisu server communicates with KNX through a compatible KNX/IP interface or router.
Should I choose the 4-inch or 10-inch panel?
Choose HV-TOUCH-4 for compact room control at a doorway, bedside, or workspace. Choose HV-TOUCH-10 for a larger central interface with more space for controls and dashboards. Both use the HyperVisu app and can be combined in the same installation.
Can it replace a KNX push-button?
It can provide room controls through HyperVisu, but requires Ethernet with PoE and a working server connection. It is not a direct replacement using only the existing KNX bus cable. Existing KNX push-buttons can remain alongside it.
Can several panels connect to the same server?
Yes. You can combine HV-TOUCH-4 and HV-TOUCH-10 panels with supported phones and tablets connected to the same HyperVisu server.
Does it need internet access?
Local control of locally connected devices uses the local network and server. Online services used by an integration may require internet access.
Where is the panel configured?
Configure the building project and integrations on the HyperVisu server, using its configuration tools or ElauPro. The panel’s preinstalled app must then be connected to that server.
What happens if the server or network is unavailable?
The panel cannot control the installation through HyperVisu until the connection is restored. KNX functions programmed directly between KNX devices continue according to the ETS project.
