| The app cannot reach the server | Are you on the same network as the server? Is the app using the cloud or the local address (see “App Settings & Personalization”)? | On the LAN, connect with the server's IP; away from home, use the serial number (cloud). If the router changed the server's IP, open http://hypervisu-<serial>.local/admin to find where it went, then set a static address or a DHCP reservation (see “Network & Time Settings”). |
| The server is unreachable after a network change | Does the server answer on its old IP? | Try http://hypervisu-<serial>.local/admin first — the name follows the server whatever address it takes. Failing that, the server answers at 169.254.60.60, and at 192.168.1.60 while it has no DHCP address. Connect a computer to the same network segment and open the admin panel there (see “Unboxing & First Power-Up”). |
| Cannot sign in | Is the username correct? Caps lock? | Reset the password: by e-mailed one-time code (needs internet on the server AND an e-mail address on that account), or with the one-time recovery code created with the first administrator. An administrator added later has no recovery code, so its e-mail address is its only way back in (see “Creating the First Administrator”). |
| The admin panel refuses my account | Is the account level 5? | Only level-5 users can open the admin panel (see “Users & Access Levels”). Sign in with an admin account, or have the admin raise your level. |
