Up and running in 5 minutes. This guide walks you through mounting, wiring, configuring and testing your ELAUSYS AJAX-KNX gateway, which bridges your AJAX alarm system into KNX. For full details, see the user manual.
1. Connection
- Mount on DIN rail — 2 SU enclosure.
- KNX bus → top terminal — red/black pluggable connector.
- Power → bottom terminal — 12–30 VDC screw terminal.
- Ethernet → RJ45 — same LAN as the AJAX Hub. Power on.
Front panel LEDs
- Network — Ethernet OK.
- Connected — AJAX Hub communication OK.
2. Configuration
- Set gateway IP — browse to
192.168.1.51, then set a static IP. - Enter AJAX Hub ID — Web UI → AJAX Config → 8-character Hub ID.
- AJAX Hub → SIA events — in Monitoring Station, set the gateway IP + port
2410. - Invite Elausys — in the AJAX app, invite info@elausys.be (for arm/disarm commands only).
- ETS — NXG-KNX Interface — set zones and areas settings.
- Scenes & group addresses — per area: scene 0–64. Link the group addresses.
3. Quick test
- ✅ Network LED green — Ethernet link OK.
- ✅ Connected LED green — AJAX Hub communication OK.
- ✅ Trigger a zone with the system armed — zone toggles on KNX.
- ✅ Send arm/disarm — the AJAX app reflects the new state.
4. Troubleshooting
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| No zone updates | Arm the system or set the sensor to Always Active. |
| Arm/disarm ignored | Invite Elausys + check internet connection. |
| KNX scene won't fire | Set scene 0–64 in ETS (0 = disabled). |
| Connected LED off | Check LAN + SIA target = gateway IP : 2410. |
