The ANB-KNX connects AnB Rimex TRICOM alarm panels to KNX through RS485. Display up to 96 program-step statuses in your KNX visualisation and use them in building automation. This gateway provides monitoring only; it cannot arm or disarm the panel.

Connect your AnB Rimex TRICOM alarm system to KNX
The Elausys ANB-KNX makes supported alarm-system information available as KNX group objects. View alarm states alongside other building information and use them in configured automation.
The gateway reads the panel through its local RS485 connection. An internet connection or cloud service is not required.
Monitor TRICOM program steps
Monitor up to 96 TRICOM program steps as individual KNX group objects. The panel configuration determines what each step represents, such as a detector, an area state, or an output status. Program step 0 is not transferred. A separate fault object reports interruption of the RS485 connection.
Available information depends on the panel configuration and the supported interface.
Use alarm information in building automation
Use a mapped area state to request an energy-saving heating mode, or display detector and panel statuses in HyperVisu or another KNX visualisation. Responses are configured in the receiving KNX devices or logic.
Communication is one-way, from the alarm panel to KNX. Arming, disarming, output control, and built-in scene recall are not supported by this model.
The alarm panel continues to manage its own security functions. The gateway adds integration with the building automation system.
Compatibility and installation
Supported systems: AnB Rimex TRICOM panels with an onboard RS485 interface.
Connect the gateway to the panel’s RS485 A/B terminals and configure the TRICOM program steps to report the required information. The gateway includes the termination resistor.
Installation requires a KNX bus connection and the supported alarm-panel interface, plus an external 12 VDC power supply. Configure KNX parameters and group addresses in ETS5 or ETS6.
For larger installations, up to 192 program steps using 2 gateways with the appropriate offsets can be configured where supported by the panel.
