Switching and blind control with an expandable KNX master
The MSA-810 is a KNX master actuator with eight potential-free relay outputs rated at 10 A / 230 VAC for resistive loads. Use the eight relay channels for switching circuits, or pair them to control up to four blinds or shutters. Switching and blind functions can be combined within the available channels.
Control functions and applications
The master includes 64 logic functions for gates, sequences, timers, and mathematical operations. Four front push-buttons support manual operation. Hour counters and maintenance thresholds provide information for configured KNX monitoring.

Integrate with the master actuator system
The MSA-810 carries the KNX address and application for the system. Extensions connect through the side connectors and are included in the ElauPro configuration. Up to eight extension slots are available, depending on the selected modules; SAE-2410 occupies three slots. A maximum of 40 combined 10 A channels is allowed across MSA-810, SAE-810, and SAE-2410.
Power, installation, and configuration
The master requires an external 24–30 VDC supply and a KNX bus connection. The switched circuits require their own load supply.
Mount the module on a 35 mm DIN rail. Generate the system application in ElauPro and configure the channels in ETS5 or ETS6. Configured KNX operation does not require an internet connection.

Can the master operate without extensions?
Yes. The MSA-810 provides eight switching channels, or up to four blind outputs using channel pairs, without extensions.
How many extensions can I add?
The system supports up to eight extension slots. Capacity depends on the module mix: SAE-2410 occupies three slots, and DALI configurations must be sized in ElauPro. The combined 10 A switching-channel limit is 40, including the master’s eight outputs.
How many blinds can the master control?
Up to four, using two relay channels per blind. Channels used for blinds are not also available as separate switching outputs.
Does each extension need a KNX address?
No. The MSA-810 holds the KNX address and ETS application. Extension channels are configured within the master’s application.
What power supply is required?
24–30 VDC external, <0.5 A. External supply for the switched circuits.
How is it configured?
Generate the actuator-system application in ElauPro, then configure the channels and group addresses in ETS5 or ETS6. The master and extensions share one KNX address and application.
