The AAE-410 is a four-channel 0–10 V analogue-output extension for the MSA-810 KNX master actuator. Control compatible 0–10 V inputs on valve actuators, ventilation controllers, dampers, and LED drivers. Each output provides a control signal rather than power for the connected equipment.
Control functions and applications
Use individual channels for analogue control or group them for compatible RGB, RGBW, or Tunable White drivers. PI temperature control uses a temperature value provided through KNX.
Each connected input must be compatible with the 0–10 V signal and maximum 2 mA output current.
Integrate with the master actuator system
The AAE-410 is an extension of the Elausys Universal KNX Actuator System and cannot operate independently. Its channels appear in the MSA-810 application, using the master’s KNX address.
Plan the module combination in ElauPro. System capacity depends on the extension types and their channel requirements. The combined limit of 40 channels at 10 A applies to MSA-810, SAE-810, and SAE-2410.
Power, installation, and configuration
The master supplies the extension’s control electronics through the side connector. The connected actuators and drivers require their own suitable power supply.
Mount the module on a 35 mm DIN rail in the same row as the master and connect it to the extension chain. Generate the system application in ElauPro and configure the channels in ETS5 or ETS6. Configured KNX operation does not require an internet connection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this extension operate on its own?
No. It requires an MSA-810 master and is configured within the master’s ETS application. It does not need a separate KNX address.
Can it power a valve actuator or LED driver?
No. The outputs provide 0–10 V control signals, limited to 2 mA each. The controlled equipment requires its own power supply.
Can I use a 1–10 V driver?
Check the driver’s electrical interface against the AAE-410 output specification. A 1–10 V label alone does not establish compatibility with a 0–10 V voltage output.
How many colour channels are required?
RGB uses three outputs, RGBW uses four, and Tunable White uses two. Select the corresponding mode for compatible drivers.
What power supply is required?
From MSA-810 through the side connector. Connected equipment requires its own suitable power supply.
How is it configured?
Generate the actuator-system application in ElauPro, then configure the channels and group addresses in ETS5 or ETS6. The master and extensions share one KNX address and application.
