Built for your installation
An INV-KNX gateway reads a supported inverter through its local Modbus TCP interface and publishes the measurements as KNX group objects: PV power and energy, string values, battery state of charge and grid import or export, depending on the inverter and its meter. KNX logic, displays and visualisations use them directly, without a server.
Each model carries the register mapping for its brand: Fronius (GEN24, Symo, Primo), SMA (Sunny Boy, Sunny Tripower), Huawei SUN2000, SolarEdge, Kostal (Plenticore, PIKO IQ), GoodWe, Sigenergy, and two Sungrow variants for SG string and SH hybrid inverters. The gateways read data; they do not change inverter or battery settings. To use solar surplus, combine the grid export value with KNX logic that switches compatible loads.
