Gateway web configuration
The factory gateway IP address is 192.168.1.51. Connect a laptop that can reach this address and open it in a browser. Assign a free fixed IP address suitable for the installation and reconnect at the new address after applying the change.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Mode | Connect |
| Server IP | IP address of the Sigenergy inverter |
| Server Port | 502 |
| Unit ID | 1 for the inverter; plant grid sensor uses slave 247 |
Individual inverters use slave addresses 1-246. The plant grid sensor (GO 55 Powermeter) is available only on plant slave 247; other values come from the inverter slave address.
Connection check
After setting the application model and communication parameters, check that the Connected LED is on. The Network LED confirms only the physical Ethernet link; it does not confirm valid inverter data on KNX.
Configure Sigenergy
The following settings apply to the Sigenergy system. Refer to the Sigenergy documentation for the detailed procedure on your model.
Enable Modbus TCP:
In the SigenStor settings, confirm that Modbus TCP is enabled. The inverter acts as a Modbus TCP server on port 502. No handshake or authentication is required.
Slave addresses:
- Individual hybrid inverters use slave addresses 1 to 246.
- The plant aggregate, used for the grid sensor (Powermeter), uses slave address 247.
Note: The grid sensor active power (Powermeter, GO 55) is reported by Sigenergy with the import-positive convention (>0: buy from grid, <0: sell to grid). If your KNX logic expects export-positive values, invert the sign in the KNX integration.
