Assign the physical address

Add the appropriate Elausys application to the ETS project and assign an unused physical address to the gateway. 1.1.50 is an example only.

Configure the application

Open the Parameters tab. Enter a valid alarm user code for user “knx” and set its length. Enable the required supported functions and choose the zone and area counts. See ETS parameter reference for every parameter and limitation.

Configure each area

Open Area 1. By default, it maps to alarm area 1; a mapping value of 5 links it to alarm area 5. Set the scene number for each status or leave 0 to disable that scene. Repeat for every configured area.

Assign group addresses

Open Group Objects and assign a group address to each object needed by the application: scenes, zones and areas and power supply status.

Download

For the first download, press the programming button to enter KNX programming mode and perform a full application download. Include the parameter settings and group-address links. Verify operation as described in Group addresses and validation.

ETS software

The gateway is configured with ETS from the KNX Association. It occupies one KNX device in the project.
