Application settings

Set Device Options to the Fronius Smart Meter Modbus ID when a meter is installed; check the actual ID (default 200 or 240).

An enabled object does not make an unsupported measurement available. Check the complete object reference in Section 8.

Refresh rate

Allow the configured polling interval before checking that measurements update. Choose the interval required for the KNX project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which inverter model should I select?

Select model 3 for Fronius inverters including Gen24, or model 6 for Fronius Symo Hybrid.

What should I enter in Device Options?

Enter the Fronius Smart Meter Modbus ID when a meter is installed. Check the actual ID in the inverter configuration; the documented defaults are 200 or 240.

Does enabling an optional object guarantee a measurement?

No. The selected inverter model and installed equipment must supply that measurement. Check the application-specific communication-object availability table.
